Our history stretches all the way back to 1957. Two separate businesses were established in 1957, with offices in the West End and North London.
1983
Backer Winter and Carter Poynter merge to become Carter Backer Winter
The firm moves to Hill House, Highgate, in North London.
1996
CBW Financial Planning established
CBW Financial Planning is formed to offer our accountancy clients a more comprehensive approach to financial wellbeing.
2004
CBW moves to Aldgate
2015
CBW Financial Planning gains Chartered status
CBW Financial Planning is awarded the prestigious gold standard “Chartered” status, placing CBW as one of the leading financial planning firms in the UK.
2016
CBW Financial Planning expands through the acquisition of Edwards Financial Services Ltd
