My journey
I’ve worked in financial services for nearly 17 years now, taking on various admin duties. I moved to London in 2013 and started work at CBW in 2014.
My role involves speaking to clients and providers, whether that’s by telephone or email, reviewing existing arrangements for clients and highlighting areas of concerns, keeping clients up to date, processing applications and new business and implementing switches.
My knowledge lies mainly around protection, pensions, investments and some trust work.
What I enjoy most about my job
The best part of my job is speaking to clients, building relationships from the beginning, supporting advisers and educating clients on what we do. It feels like we are on a journey with them to get things done.
About me
I very much enjoy my holidays, whether in the UK or abroad. I feel this is the key to help people re-energise and work more efficiently. I also enjoy long walks, visiting new places and seeing family and friends.
I support Leicester City as it’s my hometown.
The Caribbean islands – those nice sandy beaches and sea.
The sun and warm weather, a nice long walk. A cup of tea, and receiving cuddles from my pet rabbit.
A flight on an air balloon. And a flying lesson on a plane.
Experience and relationships, and my qualifications.
Enjoy life and don’t stress – get over obstacles in life and don’t let them bring you down. My mum is an example of that.
The people, clients, social aspects and the support we’re given.
